Rational 

A reporter interested in the war because the disappearance of her brother in combat discovers the story of a group of children recently rescued from an island in which they had been living without adults or help and does her best to interview them. After listening to her story, she is shocked by the beast, and decides to tell the world about the boys 'experience, however, she changes the protagonism of the event, presenting the beast as the the main one of the boys' story, and questioning its existence of it in daily life.

So he decides to tell the story in the newspaper, criticizing society about war and the beast.
